Melamine is a chemical compound that has a number of industrial uses, including the production of laminates, glues, dinnerware, adhesives, molding compounds, coatings and flame retardants. Melamine is a name used both for the chemical and for the plastic made from it. In this event, all references are to the chemical. There are no approved direct food uses for melamine, nor are there any recommendations in the Codex Alimentarius. Melamine is illegally added to inflate the apparent protein content of food products. This melamine ELISA Kit is based on indirect competitive ELISA, the coupled antigen was pre-coated in the microwells, the melamine will compete for the antibody with the pre-coated antigen, then add HRP enzyme conjugate and TMB substrate successively, the OD value of the sample is negatively correlated with the content of melamine contained in the sample. The standard curve is fitted by regression and multiplied by the corresponding dilution ratio to obtain the content of melamine in the sample.
