Ringbio showcases its products at Dairy, Livestock and Poultry Technology Exhibition Africa 2023

Ringbio, a Chinese biotechnology company that specializes in diagnostic kits for food safety, animal disease and clinical testing, participated in the Dairy, Livestock and Poultry Technology Exhibition Africa 2023 (DLP Expo Africa 2023), which was held at Kenyatta International Convention Centre, Nairobi, Kenya from June 15th to 17th.

What did Ringbio present at the event?

Ringbio displayed its products and solutions for food safety, animal disease and clinical testing at its booth. Some of the featured products included:

- Bovine Pregnancy Rapid Test Kit & Solutions: A 15-minute rapid test kit for detection of early pregnancy in cow serum based on the high affinity of monoclonal antibody against the pregnancy associated glycoproteins (PAG) in bovine serum.

- Milk Tests: A range of rapid test kits for detection of antibiotics, aflatoxin M1, melamine and other contaminants in milk.

- Feed Tests: A range of rapid test kits for detection of antibiotics, mycotoxins and other contaminants in feed.

- Meat Tests: A range of rapid test kits for detection of antibiotics, hormones and other residues in meat.

- Honey Tests: A range of rapid test kits for detection of antibiotics, adulterants and other contaminants in honey⁶.

- Egg Tests: A range of rapid test kits for detection of antibiotics and other residues in eggs.

- Pet Tests: A range of rapid test kits for detection of diseases and infections in pets.

- Swine Tests: A range of rapid test kits for detection of diseases and infections in swine.

- Poultry Tests: A range of rapid test kits for detection of diseases and infections in poultry.

- Cattle Tests: A range of rapid test kits for detection of diseases and infections in cattle.

- Goat/sheep Tests: A range of rapid test kits for detection of diseases and infections in goat/sheep.

Ringbio also introduced its new business section to promote its microbial count plates, which are a new generation of counting plate for microbiology enumeration in food and other related industries.

What is DLP Expo Africa 2023?

DLP Expo Africa 2023 is an international exhibition and conference on the latest technology and equipment of dairy, livestock and poultry farming. It is organized jointly with the Ministry of Agriculture, Republic of Kenya, and supported by various associations and media partners. The event aims to provide a platform for B2B, B2C and import related inquiries, as well as to showcase the potential of the African market for the dairy, livestock and poultry industry.

According to the organizers, the event attracted more than 25,000 visitors, including dairy farmers, livestock farmers, agriculture farmers, government officials, dealers, distributors, agronomists and others. The event also featured seminars attended by many government officials, NGOs, dairy farms and agriculture experts.

The impact of Ringbio's participation

Ringbio's participation in DLP Expo Africa 2023 was a success. The company was able to showcase its products and solutions to a large and diverse audience from different countries and regions. Meanwhile, the company also got many new contacts and partnerships with potential customers, distributors and collaborators.  By demonstrating its expertise and innovation in the field of diagnostic testing, the company was able to increase its brand awareness and reputation in the African market.

During the exhibition, our booth was visited by many dairy farmers, livestock farmers, vets and local distribution enterprises. They were very interested in Ringbio's cow pregnancy rapid test kit, cow mastitis rapid test kit and many other products. They also asked many questions about the details of these products and how to operate them. Our technical manager Jagger gave detailed explanations to each of these customers. After hearing about our cattle testing products, one livestock owner said, "Ringbio's products are very affordable and high-quality. I am confident that we will work together in the future". On the third day of the exihibition, Ringbio also discussed with our local distributor on further collaborations.

Ringbio's participation in DLP Expo Africa 2023 was also a learning opportunity.  We heared the local voices and their comments on the veterinary diagnostic applications and their requireent, thus the company was able to gain insights into the needs and challenges of the African dairy, livestock and poultry industry. Furthermore, based on these knowledge, Ringbio is able to understand the trends and opportunities in the African market, and was able to exchange ideas and feedback with other exhibitors and experts.
