Lincomycin (LCM) is an antibiotic produced by Streptomyces lincolnensis var. lincolnensis. It has been used in the treatment of staphylococcal, streptococcal, and Bacteroides fragilis infections, which is widely used natural or artificial antibiotics in animal or human clinical practice, side effects of which include severe allergy, etc. Maximum Residue Level/Limit (MRL) of LCM have been set to 150ppb in EU, China, and Codex Standards. This Meat Lincomycin Rapid Test Kit is used to detect lincomycin residues in meat samples such as beef, pork and chicken, it is fast, sensitive, and accurate. The detection limit meets EU MRL.

Sample preparation

Meat samples shall be homogenized before testing. Basically, 2g of homogenized meat dissolved with 2ml of diluted sample buffer, shake thoroughly for 2min and then centrifuge for 10min. Take the supernate for rapid testing.
