Ringbio has released a new rapid test kit for lead ions (Pb) testing in milk and water, etc. This new test kit is based on immunochromatographic assay just like our other products which can be used in farms, dairy factories, environmental inspection and monitoring.
The new rapid test kit for lead ions (Pb) testing utilizes a rapid extraction method to extract the combined Pb ions in the samples and then forms a complex compound, which will further react with the Pb-specific antibodies in the microwell reagent provided in the kit. This immunoreaction enables the kit to perform ultra-sensitive detection of Pb residues in samples. According to the internal validation, this kit can detect Pb contamination in milk samples at the level of 40-50 mg/L, and in the water sample, this detection capability is leveled up to 10mg/L.

Operation of the testing
Sample after extraction with reagent A and reagent B can be added into the microwell reagent provided in the kit, then incubate for 3min at 40 degree celsius, after then, the test strip is inserted and read after 5min. The whole testing takes less than 5min.
