Avian Leukosis

Avian Leukosis Virus, also known as ALV, a infectious virual disease that causes cancer in poultry. Herd performance will decline when infected. Unlike other viral disease, there is no treatment for leukosis and unfortunately it is usually kinder to put any affected birds to sleep. Thus eradication is a must in many poultry farms, especially in breeding flock.

Currently at RINGBIO, we develop several readily available kits to help farmers and breeders to inspect avian leukosis in flock. These kits are validated and known to be reliable, accurate and easy-to-use. They detect avian leukosis P27 antigen, gp85 antibody etc, which will contribute greatly to your ALV eradication program.
